The Wind

So just a few weeks ago Ella felt the wind for the first time. Here is San Antonio there really isn't much weather, it doesn't even get windy very often. While Kelly was visiting last week the four of us were walking back to our car from the River Walk and all of a sudden a huge gust of wind came up and Ella makes this noise... HUBB- BA-BA-BA-BAH (trying to catch her breath as if the wind was sucking the air out of her) we all laughed and of course Kelly had her camera out (photography major) and another gust of wind came up. Here is a play by play of what she does when she feels the wind.

She smirks and tries to catch her breath
Then smiles and scrunches her nose (this is a new development, I love when she scrunches her nose-- too cute)
Then closes her eyes and continues to have the biggest smile on her face (even when my hair isn't going into her face)
Then combines all the things she just did: scrunches her nose, smiles huge and laughs a little!

She does all these things every time she feels the wind, it's hilarious. The first time she felt it we had no idea what was going on. We just thought she was making funny noises... didn't even cross our mind that she had never felt wind :) We laugh every time she does this :) The pictures don't do it justice, you have to she her in action!

It was a pretty windy day, check out Ella's hair! Kelly calls this a backwards mohawk :)
