Ella's first Doctors appointment!

tJust to remind everyone when Ella was born she weighed 7.4 oz and was 19.75 inches long.

When we left the hospital she had lost some weight and was 6.11 oz (which the doctor said was normal)

NOW she weights (as of Monday) 8.0 lbs and is 21.5 inches long!!! The doc was so please and so was I. I was worried that when we went in she was going to tell us that she wasn't gaining enough weight and that we would need to formula feed her some... but instead the doc said "Oh great Mommy's milk is doing something right!" She is way over her birth weight, they hope that when you go in for your first doc appointment that her weight is back up to her birth weight but Ella's was way over :) Everything else checked out great and we go back in 6 weeks from now! She didn't even cry or put up a fuss when she was checking her out :) We were so proud.

This is a picture I took when we were waiting for the doc to see us. Tobin was talking to her and making funny faces and got her to smile (not sure if she knows she was smiling but it was adorable)!! I love this picture :)
