Otis with purple cast!

So we took Otis into the vet 3.5 weeks ago and they told us he got bit by a spider. His paw had blistered and was pussing and bleeding , it got really gross. He was put on antibiotics and then once he got off them his paw would get bad again! So we put him on another week of expensive meds and it ended up doing the same thing... it just wouldn't get any better. We took him in for the last time this week and they ended up having to lance it, they had to knock hi out and everything... come to find out there was a foreign object in there that couldn't back it's way out- it was a grass seed (shaped like an arrow). This is not common at all, basically just bad luck. Anyways, when we picked him up after getting it all taken care of this is what he looked like... came out with a purple cast like bandage with purple polka dots :) Tobin loved that it looked so manly, hahaha. We couldn't stop laughing. Anyways its all better and how silly is that, all from a grass seed, but it did a number on his foot, you would of thought something was eating away it.
